Welcome to First Steps Nursery & Pre-School where we have been providing high-quality childcare for the local community and beyond since 2004.
We are proud to have consistently maintained a good standard of practise recognised by Ofsted who have recognised that we deliver an ambitious curriculum that is adapted to meet the needs of all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities. This all happens in our brand-new, purpose-built setting where children are cared for as well as parents and staff.
Our experienced Management and Staff Team are highly qualified and have many years of experience working in early years settings.
We are proud to be part of Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust, an established multi-academy Trust with schools across the West Midlands.
We are located at the three-times Ofsted outstanding Shireland Collegiate Academy in Smethwick, and next door to the impressive new Shireland Technology Primary school. As a result, our Nursery & Pre-School has access to a range of outstanding facilities, including a theatre, sports hall, immersive space, forest school and music rooms.
We encourage all children to take part in a variety of activities that are centred around their interests and learning through natural resources.
